CBR-Effata

Welcome at CBR-Effata's website. CBR-Effata is a Dutch non-governmental organization supporting CBR-programs in sub-Saharan Africa. CBR stands for Community Based Rehabilitation and focuses on enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families, meeting basic needs and ensuring inclusion and participation.

CBR-Effata has a long history of support for CBR programs in Omorodu Iseke, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. The School for the Deaf is situated in Onuenyim Iseke. The main buildings of the Aids Ministry are found in Nwofe Agbaja.

Our director F.I. van der Maas has currently been relocated to Buba in Guinea-Bissau to initiate a new CBR program.
