CBR-EffataWelcome at CBR-Effata's website. CBR-Effata is located in Nigeria, but supported by our organization in The Netherlands. CBR stands for Community Based Rehabilitation and focuses on enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families, meeting basic needs and ensuring inclusion and participation. CBR-Effata is a Non Governmental Organization and was initiated in 1996 with the following units:
- Eye Care Unit
- Orthopedic Unit
- School for the Deaf
In 2000 more units were added: - Vocational Training Unit
- AIDS Ministry
CBR-Effata is located in Omorodu Iseke. The School for the Deaf is situated in Onuenyim Iseke. The main buildings of the Aids Ministry are found in Nwofe Agbaja. All units are within the Izzi-area of Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Donations can be sent to:
